Annoying Viruses and Getting Ahead

The Coronavirus is throwing the world into a massive panic so I'm stuck working from my "home office" for the next few weeks as my campus is shut down.

Funny that I'm 3D modeling the exact environment that I'm currently sitting in.

I mean, the pros of working from home: I get to put more detail into my work because my base for it is right in front of me. I'm more in the zone and I can be focused for longer.

The cons: I'm lucky enough not to have contracted a virus but my PC, not so much.

Whatever virus protection software I have on here clearly isn't doing its job because every few months I'll have to sweep through my PC manually to figure out what's going on with it.

Despite it all, I seem to have it up and running...for now.

Here is a really cool side-by-side that I took after I finished UV mapping my wall hangings.

An actual image of my room (you can see the render on one of my screens)

I thought this was so weird only because I had been staring at the model all day while working on it only to look 2 inches up from my screen to see the very thing that was on my screen (like a room-ception).

I also edited the lighting so that I actually get a glare coming in through the blinds.

So overall, despite the world trying to give me setbacks (and some stress), I'm actually ahead of schedule.
